Food was so good, full of flavour and depth. Meat was tender. Portion of 5 Tapas and 1 Paella was more than enough for a table of 4. We had the red Sangria and boy, it had quite a bit of alcohol. We could taste it on the first sip but who’s complaining? 😆 Service was alright since it was full house and they were short of staff. So that’s understandable. Atmosphere was quite noisy as it was a Friday night but I can imagine it to be the same during weekends. It’s a nice place to be with great company. However do be prepared to pay more than a casual dinner place. We spent approx. $90 pp. Would visit again soon!

Was a tad half hearted to press on as we trudged on from Tanjong Pagar MRT station to Binomio @ Craig road amidst the heavy thunderstorm on a weekday evening. The pleasant walk that usually takes a mere 10mins or so ended up taking close to 20mins and finally, we arrived at Binomio after what seems like forever. It was my second visit to this gorgeous restaurant and similar to my initial visit, the warm lighting and nicely done up interior exudes a cosy and extremely inviting ambience which sceams out even more to us on a heavy downpour evening. The friendly hostess gave us some bags for our brollies and napkins to wipe down and no, there was no dirty look given despite us being soaking wet. Kudos on the sweet gesture. We started off with the Jamon de pata negra, a 60 months cured Jamon Iberico with toasted warm bread and tomato puree dip. This was a surprising tasty dish that does not taste overly salty unlike usual cured meat. Then we were served classic Spanish potato and onion omelette which was cooked pretty well but nothing much to rave about in my opinion. The mushroom croquettes was nicely fried and we could taste the mushroom in every mouthfull. From the Tapas sea menu, we ordered the Tiger prawn confit, Atlantic Octopus "a fiera style" and Steam mussels and saffron. The Atlantic octopus never fails to tantalize my tastebuds -- cooked using the most basic of seasonings (smoked paprika, sea salt) while tasting so unforgettable. Most importantly, indulging in this favourite dish of mine provides a multitude of health benefits whilst being low in fats and calories. Truly a God-sent I must admit. For this visit, the steam mussels amazed me. It was legit cooked to perfection. Every bite of the sweet smelling soft flesh exploded into a sea of savoury, sweet juices rushing out to meet my palate -- nothing like the usual chewy and tough fares out there. Most definitely recommended this dish, its THE game changer. The Grilled Iberian pork chop is another highlight worthy mention. While i dont usually take pork much, this delectable meat is a mix of...In local context, imagine charsiew marinated roast pork with no fats, that taste like beef steak. Yeah you heard me right, the Grilled Iberian pork chop tasted sweet with a slightly charred exterior, no fats whatsoever and it does taste like steak. My dining companions echoed my exact sentiments. We ended the night with some creme brulee and churros whatnot. Elevating the experience with suitably paired wine/meat combination is a must have. Overall, attentive hostess, wonderful service ambience and great food. Gracias!
